Beautiful vintage butterfly brooch featuring translucent green, blue and yellow enamel wings, two striking cobalt blue cabochons and sparkling rhinestone accents. Silver-tone setting with dimensional openwork detailing gives it a stained-glass look.
Signed on the reverse with a small circular maker's mark that appears to contain LP, although the mark is difficult to fully decipher. Similar pieces have been attributed to Canadian designer Lorne Percy, but maker is not confirmed, so this piece is being sold based on the visible mark and design only.
Blue cabochons appear to be glass; materials have not been professionally tested.
Measurements: 1.5 x 2"
